The expression “cute as a button” has taken another life of its own, with Tweezerman’s partnership with Gwen Stefani’s “Harajuku Lovers” to create a 2012 Limited Edition Designer Series Beauty Tools Collection.
The Mini Slant Tweezer (on top) features a very cute mini “G” and is a perfect petite size for girls on the go.
Cute as confections, these patterned tweezers will have you singing Love, Angel, Music, Baby in no time. These tools reflect Gwen Stefani’s love of Japanese culture and Pop Art. What the series brings is a set of Matchbox nail files ($4) that will make you never resort to the plain Jane beige variety. The series also includes a cute Compact Mirror ($10), a Mini Slant tweezer ($15) and the Slant Tweezer set ($25), all retailing at Sephora.com and exclusive to the store.
The Matchbox Itty Bitty Files are just $4 and are too cute to pass up. TSA friendly.
The Slant Tweezers come in five cute and playful colors that are patterned with Harajuku Girls characters that really capture the essence of Stefani’s lyrics. Words like Love, Angel, Music, Baby adorn the box tops and I think for simply eye candy moments alone, this collection gets an A+. And of course, there’s the technical aspect of Tweezerman’s tweezers itself. The precision tips are hand finished and have always given my brows that perfect “pluck” without making the exercise painful as a bikini wax.
The Slant Tweezers come in five varieties.
We give this collection a super cute thumbs up. I think this would target just about every woman out there: from the teeny bopper teen to the “kid in you” adult who loves the cuteness of the patterns. Purchase them in Sephora.com starting August 1st and use them for months.
A special thank you to brow guru Ramy Gafni who tweezed and shaped my brows to perfection in no time!
