As most of you may or may not know, I am getting married and I finally have a date! I am getting married on June 25th of this year. Wedding planning can be a daunting task — I have waited a long time to tie the knot, so when the day finally arrives, I want to have the best of the best.
As luck would have it, I went to the Wedding Salon event. The Wedding Salon is the #1 premier bridal showcase and has events is 5 markets across the country including: NYC, LA, Chicago, Washington D.C. and Miami.
I really enjoyed this event; it was a great opportunity to meet with vendors one-on-one
and really get to see what they had to offer. I have a destination picked out for my wedding, but I wished I had went to an event like before I made my decision. The good news was we still have not decided on a honeymoon, so I was able to get some much-needed getaway information.
Little, cozy, warm booths were set up throughout the location where you could meet with the experts on their destinations and products. Brochures, fliers and demos of the product offerings were given out at most of the booths. The atmosphere was exciting! Although the event had a nice crowd, it was not overly crowded, which really gave you the option to see everything.
Some of the standout places were Wine & Weddings in Italy, Blue Sea Anguilla, Perfect Planned Hawaii and Grand Caribe Belize Resort. These all had great offerings for a destination wedding or honeymoon. The experts that ran the booths were very friendly with a wealth of information on-hand.
Also, there were a lot of great vendors at the event. A few of the ones I liked were Magnolia Photo Booth Co. They had a lot of options and their booth was definitely reminiscent of the real ones I used when growing up.
There was also Canti Prosecco to taste. It had a great flavor and would definitely make the perfect favor for guests. There was also M2M Music to the Max — a DJ that will take your party to the max.
The next event in NYC is on April 28, 2014. Check out their scheduled events across the country at www.weddingsalon.com. I strongly suggest if you’re a bride-to-be, or anticipating on becoming a bride, to go to this event and get some expert planning help.
