Her soon-to-be nuptials to musician John Legend has her all aflutter with skincare concerns, including keeping her legs silky smooth and moisturized!

What causes ingrown hairs?
“One of the key causes of ingrown hairs is when you don’t use a sharp enough razor. The Gillette Venus & Olay razor has five blades that are very close together — you’re going to get a close shave in addition to exfoliating your skin.
“Dead skin is what leads to ingrown hairs. Dead skin covers the hair follicle and the hairs grow under the skin. So, if you can exfoliate and shave closely, you’ll minimize your chances of ingrown hairs.”
Is it okay to shave every day?
“If you use a razor like the Gillette Venus & Olay with built-in moisture, you can shave every day. The problem is when your skin is dry and you’re rubbing the razor over dry skin, which causes irritation.
How long can you go without changing your razor head?
“Change your razor head after 10 shaves. That is just an average number. When you can’t smoothly glide the razor over your skin, and see some bumps and irritation, then it is time to change.”
What ingredients are found in the Gillette Venus & Olay razor heads?
“The strips are made from glycerin and petrolatum, which are Olay ingredient used in many Olay product. Now they are putting those ingredients on the razor with the pivoting head that makes it so special.”
