First, I am going to start with the the Moringa Body Butter ($19.00). Now, typically, I don’t really care for floral scented products, but this product has such a unique and amazing scent that I actually love it. The texture of the product is thick — as is typical for a body butter — but I don’t find that it is uncomfortable when applied (due to the extreme heat lately) as most other body butters would. The scent is strong on your skin at first but throughout the day it does fade. Surprisingly, though, the scent fades but is still detectable on your skin — I really like that about this product.

According to their website, this product provides 24-hour hydration and is ideal for normal to dry skin. I have to say that is true. It did leave my skin feeling soft and smooth and the scent lasted all day. This product contains shea butter and has a delicate white floral scent.

The next product I am going to share with you is the Beautifying Oil ($14.00; pictured above). I tested this product out in two scents: Mango and Shea. I did prefer the Shea scent over the Mango, and I found that the Shea scent lasted longer on my skin in regards to fragrance. This product is supposed to give instant hydration and a shimmering finish. I didn’t find that the product made my skin “shimmer” so to speak, but it did leave me glowing and it was definitely appropriate for summer!

The product absorbs in to the skin amazingly, and doesn’t leave you greasy as most other oils for your body do. According to the website, you can put this on your body, face and hair. Now, I have extremely sensitive skin on my face, so I did not test this product out there… however, I did try it in my hair. Even when applying very little, I found that it left my hair looking oily and greasy; it added a nice texture to it, but if you don’t wash your hair every single day (I typically do every other day), I think that you should avoid putting this in your hair. It does leave a nice fragrant smell throughout your hair though.

For the body I absolutely love this product! The Shea Beautifying Oil has a light, nutty scent but it smells very fresh and very clean. The Mango Beautifying Oil has a fruity scent and does not initially smell like mango to me, but after it sets into your skin I can pick up on the mango. I’m not a huge fan of Mango, but I do like fruity scents — I guess it would depend on your taste. I experienced the same amount of moisture from both of these products. They acted the same in all aspects except of course for the scent.

The next product is the Strawberry Body Mist ($12.00). I like the packaging: it’s a sleek glass container with a pop-off cap and, of course, a spray nozzle. I did find that the cap tends to wobble a bit as if it’s not fit snugly on the product. So, if you’re going to throw this in your purse and go, be careful with it. It doesn’t leak but the cap might pop off. The mist itself is pink in color but doesn’t show up in photographs.

The scent does smell like strawberries and is very refreshing. I actually find that for a body mist the scent lasts with you all day long! Of course, it fades as the day goes by, but you can still pick up the notes of the product. If you want to reapply, of course you can. This product actually contains strawberry extract and gives a burst of sweet fruitiness.

The last product is the Lily Cole Hi-Shine Lip Treatment ($5.00). The packaging is very cute; this product is dispensed from a squeeze tube. The website claims it is super-glossy and super-delicious. This product gives a wet look to the lips as well as shine and has a sweet flavor.

I have this shade in 01 Go Naked. It is a nude, pale peachy color with shimmer. This product did not give me any color to my lips, but it could be a.) because of the shade and b.) because of the natural pigmentation of my lips. They do offer a pink shade so maybe that would provide a little more color. However, it did make my lips look glossy in a natural way. I did find the product to be a little sticky but it lasted for quite a while on my lips. These lip glosses are also limited edition so you may want to get your hands on them now while you can!

All in all, I have to say that my favorite product out of those mentioned above would have to be the Moringa Body Butter — I think this product is amazing but everything I have tried from The Body Shop I have fell in love with! …….And don’t forget to score free samples of their Lily Cole makeup collection by clicking..HERE!
