September is over and we’re into October now. Before you know it, Christmas, Hannukah, Kwanzaa & Festivus will be upon us and we will have to have all of our gifts wrapped and ready to go for all the family and friends with have on our lists. I am guilty of being a known procrastinator and buying aimlessly in the final hours of Christmas Eve to make sure I get the perfect gift for everyone. It never turns out as well as I envisioned it would. Well, this year is going to be different. I am here to help myself and all of you with two great gift ideas for the men and women in your life!

The Prada Candy 3-Piece Holiday Gift Set is perfect for the important woman in your life. The set includes a 2.7 fl oz eau de parfum, a 2.5 fl oz perfumed body lotion, and a 0.34 oz roll-on travel perfume. It is packaged in the most adorable hot pink box with the cutest assortment of gold-toned teddy bears printed all over it. The box itself is an adorable keepsake and can be used for storage after the contents are long gone.

The enticing smell has a top note of caramel combined with benzoin and white musk. In case you are not familiar with benzoin (which I was not), it gives off a sweet vanilla-like aroma. It is also found in incense. I loved all three products. The smell was very pleasant. I felt it was light enough that most people would enjoy it! I also think the box and bottles would appeal to women of all different ages, from the very young to the very old. The travel-size is perfect for your purse, while you can leave the full-size bottle at home, and the lotion is great for extra moisturization and freshness!

Macy’s Exclusive, Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male in the Navy | $92.00

For the men in your life, I would suggest this scent. I was recently at the launch event for this cologne and I must say i twas one of the most interesting events I have ever attended. With men and women dressed in their very best sailor attire, there were photo ops, real tattoo artists inking detailed tattoos, and a chance to get military dog tags engraved with the name of your choice! I had an absolute ball at the event. Although I did not have the courage to get a tattoo, I did enjoy all of the other perks.

The tin can packaging on this cologne is done brilliantly, with two masculine sailor arms wrestling and a sexy woman sailor saluting. The bottle contains 4.2 fl oz of product and is a blue body with a striped blue and white shirt. It makes the perfect accessory to put on any dresser or bathroom counter.

The smell is not overpowering, but subtle and sexy. It could be worn by both men and women. I tested it and would definitely wear it!

These are definitely no brainers when it comes to gift giving this holiday season. I would run over to Macy’s before these glorious gifts are sold out. If you can’t get to a store, head online and take advantage of free shipping on the Macy’s website!
