Herbal Essences is back and better than ever! Their line has relaunched with a Smooth and Shine Collection. I said YES, YES, YES to both and tested them out over the last couple of weeks. I had used the shampoo back in its earlier days, and was excited to see what it was like in its new and improved formula.
I liked the fact that the shampoo and conditioner are noticeably different in packaging, so I can easily differentiate between the two. I loved the colors they chose — pretty pink and gold shades. They also were very fairly priced — at $3.99 each, you wouldn’t be breaking the bank even if you wanted to try all of them.

After
I started with the Smooth Shampoo & Conditioner. I absolutely loved the smell of them! They are infused with a blend of rose hips and jojoba extracts. The shampoo had 0% silicone and the conditioner has 0% sulfate.
I blow-dried my hair, as usual, and I have to say it looked terrific: my hair looked smoother and silkier, and it smelled like a beautiful garden. My fiance even commented on the nice smell.
Next, I used the Shine Shampoo and Conditioner. This set is infused with a blend of chamomile, aloe vera and passion flower. This shampoo also has 0% silicone and the conditioner has 0% sulfate. The smell of this set was also beautiful. The products were supposed to cleanse your hair to reveal its natural shine. My hair definitely turned out shinier and also smelled great.

After
I worked up a great lather with them and was definitely happy with the new formula. My hair, overall, did feel cleaner, shinier, smoother and had the aroma of fresh flowers. You can find all of these products at major retailers. It was available as of February 2013. YES, YES, YES, I definitely liked the product!
