I had the pleasure of attending a Joico event to launch their new Hair Shake Texturizer, $17.99/ 5.1oz. I was not only introduced to a fantastic new product, but had the pleasure of meeting a great group of people, who by the way, really know how to throw a party.
Hair Shake is a groundbreaking new texturizer that does an amazing job of adding texture, volume, and drama to your hair. So why is it called Hair Shake? The magic is within the bottle. A steel ball inside instantly turns the spray from a liquid to a powder! How cool is that? It mists onto your hair and the result is mega volume. It’s such a cool and easy product to use with amazing results.
Joico recently collaborated with L.A. celebrity hair stylist, Paul Norton (@paulnortonhair), who is their new spokesperson. He is responsible for creating magazine cover looks and red carpet styles for Ashley Greene, Diana Agron, Robin Wright, Stacy Keibler, and star of Jane the Virgin, Gina Rodriguez. I was lucky enough to have my hair done by him and within a few minutes, my hair went from flat to full.
During the event, choreographer Mark Martinez, created a hair shake dance. He was so energetic and fun – the man could really move!
Joico also announced a great contest where you can dance and shake the night away in Las Vegas! Show them your #hairshake dance in a 15 second video on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook for a chance to win! Below, see a video I did at the event! Even if you don’t win the trip, 3 second prize winners will receive a year’s supply of hair shake. The contest runs May 1-June 30. For rules go to joico.com/contest-rules
