I love when a cosmetic palette comes with suggested instructions on where to place their colors! I find that so very helpful and even if you use the colors any which way you’d like to, at least you know one was created for an overall base, another for the crease, another to be used as a highlighter, etc. Lancôme Paris Color Design Eye Brightening All-In-One 5 Shadow & Liner Palettes ($49.00) do just that!
Not only can these shadows be applied wet or dry, but they are formulated with vitamin E, which delivers antioxidant protection against the environmental damage. The Wet Pour Process, a Japanese technology, delivers silky, vivid and long-lasting shadows by combining loose pigment and solvent, which are then poured into a pan and lightly pressed.
As the solvent evaporates, the shadow then becomes a solid. Traditional shadows are generally hard-pressed, which could crush pearls and deliver less color payoff. These were made to be long-wearing and highly pigmented!
Thirteen palettes are available at Lancôme counters nationwide and also on www.lancome-usa.com. I had the pleasure of sampling their New Peach Opulence palette. Also new are Plum Splendor and Emerald Decadence. Other palettes include Midnight Rush, Teal Fury, Amethyst Glam, Sienna Sultry, Pink Envy, Mauve Cherie, Taupe Craze, Coral Crush, Bronze Armour, Emerald Boudoir and Jade Fever.
For me, Lancôme Paris does not disappoint. Their colors are always on-trend, long-lasting, silky and I also have a penchant for their mascaras. I have loved the brand for many years and am also delighted to be able to sample their new Bienfait Teinté BB Cream as well.
