Buff on the clay! Tarte has come out with New Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Airbrush Powder Foundation ($36.00). This talc-free and moisture-rich powder foundation provides full coverage that is weightless and won’t settle into fine lines. Its formula invigorates skintone and texture for a youthful complexion.
I couldn’t believe how light it felt on my skin, while providing a great level of coverage. I was able to swatch the entire line of 11 shades that are also coordinated by skin undertone including Sand (yellow and olive), Honey (peach and subtle apricot), Beige (rosy and subtle pink) and Neutral (balanced blend of yellow and pink).

I have yellow and pink undertones, and found the perfect shade for me: Fair/Light Neutral (with pink and yellow undertones).
Its beautiful bamboo cover design houses an ingenious mesh sifter to distribute the product on to your Airbuki Bambo Powder Foundation Brush ($26.00) — no shaking necessary! The buoyant mesh sifter makes for a mess-free application, and you won’t have to worry about spilling your powder all over your makeup bag — the small holes allow for the powder to sift through a little at a time.

Looks like false lashes are all the rage this Fall 2013 season, but without the falsies and glue, of course! Tarte’s New Lights, Camera, Flashes Statement Mascara ($23.00) is encased in a beautiful, reptilian printed gold material which holds the ultra-black mascara that curls, lengthens and magnifies lashes!
Volume is increased by 752% as the vitamin-infused formula of provitamin b5 (thickens lashes) and beeswax (protects the barrier between skin and the environment, also known to stimulate collagen production) plumps up your lashes that won’t dry out, flake or budge.

Mascara Comparison:
IT Cosmetics Hello Lashes 5-in-1 Treatment Mascara
The mascara’s wand is a dual-molded 360° Volu-Flex Brush with two sides that make lashes look incredibly lush! The short, dense Soft-Flex bristles distribute the optimal amount of the mascara’s dark pigment, while the longer Firma-Flex bristles lengthen and separate for maximum volume without clumping.

See how far your lashes can go with the Tarte Technique:
– Using the denser side of the wand featuring Soft-Flex bristles, wedge at the base of your lashes and pull through the tip in zig-zag motions.
– Rotate the brush 180° to comb through lashes with the Firma-Flex bristles for separation and added volume.
– Apply two coats to achieve maximum length and volume.
Just one coat and my lashes looked absolutely long and volumized! I usually twirl my mascara brush slowly as I apply the brush to my lashes, just to make sure they are evenly coated and separated.
This brush has two different bristle on ether side that ultimately becomes one! My eyes look more wide-awake, and I didn’t have to worry about using a comb to work the formula through afterwards.
