According to the folks at Avon, “nine out of ten women saw a dramatic improvement in skintone” after using the new Anew Clinical Absolute Even Multi-Tone Skin Corrector ($39.99) product that contains the clinically engineered DSX-7.
They promise it will “dramatically reduce the look of seven types of discolorations including dark spots, uneven skintone, post-acne marks, brown patches, blotchy red patches, freckles and sallowness” and that it will deliver “flawless, younger-looking skin.” It’s clinically tested to be mild and gentle and is effective on all skintones.
I have to admit that I am skeptical of the claims made by such products. But, I was willing to give it a try. For a couple of weeks, I used the product morning and evening after my cleansing routine. I did not notice any changes in dark spots (that takes time), but, almost immediately saw a real reduction in redness/blotchiness.
My foundation went on so smoothly — and I could use less makeup because I was not trying to hide any redness. Ladies, take note: If you have uneven skintone, this stuff is great!
