With the recent launch of Powerful Wrinkle Reducing Cream ($52.00), Kiehl’s chemists are offering a new approach to addressing the appearance of wrinkles and texture. They claim that this wrinkle-fighting formula (for all ages — even for those in their 20s can use it) is “clinically proven to significantly improve elasticity by 32% within 4 weeks, an essential reason why fine lines, wrinkles and visible pores are reduced.”
Made with copper PCA, calcium PCA, and apricot kernel oil, this formula is said to “reduce wrinkles, improve elasticity, protect the skin’s moisture barrier and infuse the skin with hydration necessary to improve the skin’s appearance.”
I used this cream twice a day for four weeks. The fragrance and texture are both very appealing. The cream was light enough to use as a day cream under makeup, but rich enough for a night cream; it left my skin smooth and hydrated.
However, I found the wrinkle/fine line reduction promise to be overstated; I did not notice any significant difference in these areas. But this is a good moisturizer (if somewhat pricey product)for daily and nightly use.
