The Cosmetic Executive Women Foundation (CEWF) honored QVC for its generosity and commitment to Cancer and Careers at the annual Beauty of Giving Luncheon on December 12, 2014 at the Waldorf Astoria.

The event celebrated individuals and companies for their philanthropic achievements and commitment to CEWF’s signature charity, Cancer and Careers, which empowers and educates working people with QVC’s support of Cancer and Careers raises both vital funds and awareness of the program’s free services for cancer patients and survivors.

In 2013, CEW partnered with QVC to launch the QVC & CEW Present Beauty with Benefits events, during which viewers shopped a selection of products knowing 80% of the purchase price went to benefit Cancer and Careers. The events have raised over $2.2 million to-date and counting!

The luncheon closed with a live auction, in which one-of-a-kind experiences were auctioned off, with the proceeds benefiting Cancer and Careers. This year’s live auction prizes included:

Last year’s Beauty of Giving Luncheon had over 600 attendees and raised $520,125 to support
Cancer and Careers’ free services for working people with cancer. The grand total in funds raised for the 2014 Beauty of Giving Luncheon was $735,125 (including sponsorship, table/ticket sales, as well as the Live Auction ($46,000) and Fund-a-Need, which raised $94,000). There were over 700 attendees at the luncheon this year.
