Step 1: Fully submerge the sponge in the water. Squeeze and saturate it under water; you’ll feel it get soft and squishy as it fills up.
Step 2: Squeeze and towel-dry to get the excess water out.
Step 3: You’re done! Time to put the beautyblender to work!

Its size increases 3X when fully damp, so don’t just spritz water on the sponge — you won’t get the full effect of the makeup sponge’s capability. The top surface allows the makeup to stay outside and not seep into your beautyblender. So make sure to bounce it on your skin when applying your powder, liquid or cream foundation.
