Ashley Greene talked about her new brand ambassador role for mark cosmetics and life before the TWILIGHT franchise with MTV’s SuChin Pak at “Inside the mark Studio” on Thursday evening (November 11) held at the Glass Houses in NYC. “I am thrilled to join the mark family,” said Ashley Greene. “mark has been on my radar not only because of their great fashion and beauty products, but because the brand inspires young women to feel beautiful inside and out.”
Since she was 14, Ashley was driven to make her own money, but had a lot of jobs before becoming an actress from working in dry cleaning to working as a waitress at Lucky Strike. Ashley also relates to young women struggling to come into their own. “As a teenager in high school, finding a signature look did not come easily,” said Ashley. “I didn’t have a sense of how to create my own style. My looks were overdone and contrived.”
She is now a jeans and t-shirt girl and expresses her individuality through bold accessories like a chunky gold bracelet. Though she loves dressing up for red carpet moments, a casual look is Ashley’s daily attire. So it makes sense to me that Audrey Hepburn is her role model. Ashley is surely a modern version of Ms. Hepburn. She is a classic beauty, with a poised exterior and a passion to help teenagers make their mark in the world.
