Cosmetic Executive Women (CEW) announced the finalists for the 2014 CEW Insiders’ Choice Beauty Awards, the industry’s highest honor. Celebrating its 20th year, the CEW Beauty Awards recognized the most innovative new products of the year. The 193 finalists across 32 categories, including the new Iconic Beauty Award category, were chosen from more than 760 product entries!
Finalists were voted on by CEW members, more than 6,000 beauty industry executives and professionals from 1,500 companies. Winners will be selected from the finalists by the CEW Board of Governors and a select group of industry experts and will be announced at the CEW Beauty Awards Luncheon Friday, May 16, 2014.
“CEW’s Insiders’ Choice Beauty Awards are the only beauty awards program where the finalists are chosen exclusively by beauty insiders,” says Carlotta Jacobson, President of CEW. “The roster of finalists has become beauty consumers’ most coveted shopping list as it represents the most innovative products in beauty.”
In celebration of 20 years of the Insiders’ Choice Beauty Awards, CEW created the Iconic Beauty Award, which will recognize 2 products (one in mass and one in prestige) that have transcended 20 or more years in the industry. This special award will be presented by DSM Personal Care.
Also new this year, CEW and Yahoo! have partnered to create the Most Buzzed About Beauty Award to recognize the beauty products that consumers are talking about online. The winners, one mass and one prestige, will be announced at the Beauty Awards luncheon.
