Did you see? BeautyStat.com is featured in the July issue of Shape magazine (on newsstands now!). Ron Robinson had this to say about which cleansing conditioners are best — and ideal — for coarse, curly hair:
Talk about two-timing! Products like Cutler Specialist Cleansing + Conditioner ($22; cutlersalon.com), L’Oréal Paris EverCrème Cleansing Conditioner ($7; drugstores), and Wen Sweet Almond Mint Cleansing Conditioner ($32; wenhaircare.com) feel and hydrate like conditioner but get rid of dirt and oil at the same time. Keep in mind: Formulated with mild surfactants, these products tend not to cleanse as deeply as traditional shampoos, says New York City-based cosmetic chemist Ron Robinson –so they’re best for women with coarse or curly hair, not oily or fine.
