Celebrity Red Carpet Beauty Secrets

Every award season we drool just a little over our favorite stars and how ultra-glamorous they look on the red carpet. Unlike the Scarecrow in the Wizard of Oz with a “snip-snip here” and a little “tuck” there, today’s procedures are a lot easier and make a world of difference in how we look and feel about ourselves.

Ssshh…We won’t tell, if you won’t! Dr. Bruce Katz, director of the renowned JUVA Skin & Laser Center in New York shares a few secrets about celebrities on the red carpet.

Catherine Zeta Jones
Youthful Looking Eyes (Dr. Katz recommends the Madonna Lift Treatment): “The Madonna fractional eyelift dramatically reduces the appearance of dark circles and eye wrinkles, tightens upper and lower eyelid skin, and helps to elevate drooping eyebrows,” said Dr. Katz. “It has a number of the benefits of a surgical eyelift without the risks and downtime.”

Helen Mirren
Don’t Let Your Neck Give Away Your Age: We recommend using your night time moisturizer and cream on your neck as well, because this is the area where most women forget to pay attention to.

Julianne Moore

Create Full, Luscious Lips: Use a lip plumper to create a voluminous effect. If you must resort to cosmetic surgery, Dr. Katz recommends Perlane, which, injected above the upper lip instantly adds volume and fullness, creating a “plump” effect.

Anne Hathaway
Tighten Skin: There are a lot of skin tightening creams available in the market and a flawless, taut complexion is one of the celebrity’s key beauty secrets because it creates the canvas for your makeup.

Shape Up: Of course, this goes without saying. While some women resort to Smart Lipo, we’ve found regular, consistent exercise and moderate eating habits can go a long way to trim your figure.

We’re curious, would you resort to cosmetic procedures to recreate the celebrity red carpet look, or would you resort to the over the counter products?
