November 25th marked the anniversary of Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey’s announcement of their separation, but Jessica Simpson was far from shedding tears. Jessica Simpson was celebrating Thanksgiving with her family, her fiancé Eric Johnson and future in-laws at the Ritz Carlton after taking the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. As many of you know Jessica Simpson has been donning a beautiful ruby ring sandwiched between two gorgeous diamonds. Ecstatic about being engaged, I am more excited to see Jessica in a wedding dress and her gorgeous hair and make-up!
Jessica Simpson is a beautiful woman and facial features play a huge part in picking the perfect hair and make-up for the BIG DAY! Since Jessica has a square face, full hair will better compliment her facial structure. Depending on her dress, a loose up-do or long luscious curls are sure to be show-stoppers. Jessica should steer clear of slicking back her hair flat to her head.
These (above) are some of my favorite looks that Jessica wore, and perfect for her bone structure. To get the look, first apply Frederic Fekkai Coiff Bouffant and let your hair air dry. Then use a 1 ¼ inch curling iron and curl small sections of your hair. Once your whole head is completely curled, turn your head upside down and spray with your choice of hairspray; flip your head up and shake your hair out. The next step is to pin up your hair. Twist up sections loosely, letting hair frame your face. Secure the hair using bobby pins.
Once Jessica’s hair is wedding ready, the final step is make-up. I deal with many brides, and wedding day make-up is about enhancing a woman’s natural beauty – drama both literally and figuratively is not something you want on your wedding day. Jessica has a hooded crease, which makes it harder to see her lid. I would recommend using a light color on her lid; Nars Nepal is a stunning color. Then I would use a darker color to exaggerate her crease, followed with a thin line on the upper lash-line. Individual lashes are a beautiful accent to any eye shape. I use Ardell lashes which can be bought at your local beauty supply store or drugstore.
On your wedding day, you want to wear enough make-up to show up in pictures. So to finish I would line her lips (to help the lipstick stay on longer), put Viva Glam VI lipstick on and a bit of gloss for that added brilliance.
