I attended the
Paco Rabanne #InvictusAqua launch event this week. The event took place at a very chic space in Chelsea, NYC.
There, I met the brand’s ambassador, Nick Youngquest, the Australian rugby player turned model (see photo below).
I also got to sample the scent! And I love the crisp freshness of it. Inspired by divinities devoted to water and freshness, sensuality reaches dizzying new heights with Aqua, a godly element. Freshness from the deep, a power that rules the seas.
Ron Robinson, BeautyStat Founder and Cosmetic Chemist, with Nick Youngquest, brand ambassador.
Invictus Aqua embodies colossal, unremitting freshness at its peak, swept up in sensuality. A fragrance constructed from a
vibrant surge of amber and violet woods, met by a crashing wave of marine accords of
wet violet and grapefruit granite. An olfactory smash-up by
Nicolas Beaulieu and Juliette Karaguezoglou.
The packaging is stunning. The bottle was revisited with a new purity and a solidity that’s
powerfully pure. Strong lines in glass and silver-blue metal for the cap. Shades of blue show the liquid inside, from the
deep to blinding, the abyss to the light.
