Green Tea
- The active in green tea is Epigallo Catechin Gallate (EGCG). It is a very powerful anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory agent. Many researchers have attributed that the reason Japanese populations have much lower cancer, heart and better skin is their habitual consumption of green tea. We believe along with many other leading dermatologists that aging is an inflammatory disease. Photoaging or the pre-mature aging caused by solar exposure to the skin is mostly caused by inflammatory reactions.
