Begin by parting your hair evenly down the middle into two large sections. Start your braid by taking two smaller sections at the crown and twisting them around your finger in the same direction.
Step 2
Keep twisting the sections and adding more hair as you work your way down to the nape of the neck. Then secure the braid with a clear hair band so it doesn’t unravel.
Step 3
Repeat Step 2 on the opposite side of the head, until you’re left with two rope braids. Then pin them in place as if you’re wearing a halo.
How To Create A Messy 5-Strand Braid Look
The best part about this style is that it’s two looks in one! Rock your Angel Braid all day and then sleep on it. Let it loose the next morning and you have gorgeous waves, overnight!
