I had the pleasure of trying out some NEW Topshop Make Up products. The first I would like to talk about is the Glass House EyePalette ($24.00). This palette gives you great colors to create a classic smoky eye: a rich black, a deep blue, a silver/gray and a white to highlight the brow bone and the inner eye area.
This palette comes with an eyeshadow applicator as well as a nice mirror inside. The eyeshadows all have pretty good pigment, but the lighter colors do need to be worked up a little bit in order to achieve a bold color.
Using a colored base when working with the lighter shadows will give you a pop of color; I especially loved using the blue shade on the lower lash line — it almost has a metallic effect to it when swatched.
It’s a very wearable shade of blue. I’m not a fan of blue eyeshadows (on myself that is), but this one I absolutely adore!
The next product was the Topshop Make Up Brow Pencil & Brush ($12.00). This is a dual-ended pencil that has a spoolie on one end and a brown liner on the other. The pencil is extremely pigmented.
I am the type of girl that likes to use an eyeshadow and an angled liner brush to fill in my brows, but I do like the tone of this brown.
I also tried the Topshop Make Up Lips ($18.00) in the shade Tease, which is a super-bold, bright, hot pink! This is a great shade for the summer! It is extremely pigmented! I didn’t think the color worked too well on my skintone, but I still adored this particular shade.
You can dab it on lightly for sheer color, or apply it heavier for full-on, bold color! The lipstick wears rather long and does not dry your lips out at all! It is a creamy, matte shade, but they do have other shades available that are more shimmery.
The Topshop Make Up Lip Stick ($14.00) in Powder Room is a beautiful alternative for a lighter shade of pink. It is also a creamy, matte sort of shade. This crayon is about the size of a NYX Jumbo Lip Pencil.

This is another extremely pigmented, beautiful product. It also is rather long-wearing, and I found it to be convenient to reapply throughout the day with its lip crayon form.
One thing I’d like to mention though is make sure your lips are moisturized; I found that something about this product accentuates any dry areas on your lips. But with that being said – it is not drying at all!
The Topshop Make Up Lip Liner ($10.00) in the shade Deception (swatched above) is absolutely amazing if you’re looking for a great ruby red lip liner. And for only $10.00, who could go wrong? It applies smooth and does not tug or pull on the lips.
It’s just what I would expect from a high-end lip liner. This is great to apply all over the lips before adding your favorite red lipstick to ensure the wearability, or to use to create an ombre look with a different neutral or pink lipstick!
Did I mention, I think I have a new favorite lip balm? The Topshop Make Up Lip Balm ($6.00) in Pink is one of my new faves! It doesn’t have much color to it but leaves a baby pink tint to lips. It comes in a standard lip pot and you use your finger to apply.
But, it provides so much moisture to the lips and leaves the moisture there well after the product has worn off. I will definitely be repurchasing this product! It also has a really sweet, candy-like, fruity smell.
The closest thing I can compare the smell to would be a pink Starburst! This product won’t give you full-on color, but it’s not pigmented enough to stain your pillowcase if you wear it to bed!
Now, this next product looks absolutely stunning in its cute packaging! The Topshop Make Up Bronzer ($25.00) in Break of Day has a pale, shimmery pink side and a mid-toned, shimmery bronzer on the other.
I’d like to say that it appears to be more of a satin finish once it’s actually on the skin though. To refer to the swatches, I swatched the blush and bronzer alone, and then combined the two to get a really nice, peachy look.
I also was wearing this in the photograph of my makeup look I created sporting these products. On my skintone (MAC NC20), this color barely showed up as a blush, so I would use it as a highlighter or perhaps over my other products to create a nice glow on the cheeks.
But, it would also be cute as an eyeshadow. I think if you’re fair-skinned, this would be a perfect blush for you with a light amount of shimmer! You could most certainly use the bronzer and the blush alone. The packaging has a good weight to it also. I’m actually impressed with ALL of Topshop Make Up‘s packaging for their products.
Lastly, I have three Topshop Make Up Nail Polishes ($10.00) that are my new loves as well. I have the shades Crystal Clouds (shimmery/metallic taupe-gold), Beleza (bluish/silver glitter) and Indian Summer (creamy pink).
Crystal Clouds gives you amazing opaque coverage easily with one coat; Beleza is an interesting polish on its own — it has a baby blue base to it, not like your typical glitter polish. It’s definitely not an overcoat of glitter, it has it’s own color. Inside of that base, there are different sized silver glitter chunks in it; Indian Pink is rather sheer with one coat, but builds up easily after you apply the second.
Dawn using ALL of her Topshop Make Up products!
I’d be interested seeing what other colors are available for these polishes, because Crystal Clouds and Beleza are extremely unique shades! They would be great to add to anyone’s collection.
