As soon as the Anastasia Beverly Hills Lavish Set and Eye Covet Holiday 2013 Collections came out, all I could do was think of Michelle Phan’s NEW beauty tutorial of a Roaring ’20s flapper girl.
The ornate packaging is reminiscent of the time, as there are gem and gold shades, even Anastasia’s own logo reminded me of the font from that time period (à la The Great Gatsby).

The colors found in both collections are rich and can be either applied dramatically or more subtle, depending on the look you want to create. I am a sucker for metallics and sparkle, and both are seen within these collections.
The Lavish Set even comes with a guide book for how-to looks that I always find helpful to use when applying the products. Eye Covet has been one of my favorite liners: it stays in place and I often use my Noir even inside my waterline. This set includes 6 others including Lavish, Gilded, Absynthe, Midnight, Steel and Azure.
Just hearing the names confirms that I was correct in thinking my genre pick was spot-on! There are 4 sparkle shades and 3 matte, so you can wear them for any occasion!
I just appreciate how Anastasia has branched out from being known originally as the Brow Queen to an overall Beauty Queen as of late. I am still in love with her brow products, yet I have embraced her beauty collections as well. Kudos, Anastasia! Queen of all things beautiful!
