I have always been a fan of CARGO Cosmetics — I just love the metal tins that hold each product — and was so happy to see their Eye Shadows ($16) for Fall 2013.
Provence
As usual, they don’t disappoint: beautiful shades of deep purple, violet and rosewood tones. These beauties use jet-milled talc, so they feel smooth going on.
Pasadena
Not only do these shadows look great, but they are loaded with good-for-you ingredients like aloe barbadensis leaf extract, which hydrates and nourishes skin; silica delivers a silky, long-wearing finish and vitamin E helps protect your skin from environmental aggressors. They are also paraben-free!
Moreton Bay is a rich burgundy; Provence is a light pearl lavender; Pasadena is a matte pink and Shanghai (not pictured) is a mocha and lavender shimmer. They can be used wet or dry, gliding on smoothly and wearing all day.
The HD Picture Perfect Eye Shadow Primer ($19.00) is the perfect compliment to the Eye Shadows. This primer is part of the Cargo_HD Collection which consists of a CC Cream ($39.00), Translucent Powder ($32.00) and a Lip Primer ($19.00).
The Eye Shadow Primer goes on transparent, so it will not disturb your eyeshadow, allowing for an even application and long wear ability.
I can’t believe it but this is CARGO’s first lipstick collection since their debut nearly 20 years ago! Essential Lip Color ($22.00) is worth the wait.

This formula is loaded with pigment and plumps up lips with Max Lip, a blend of peptides that increase moisture and reinforces connective tissue. Olive oil, jojoba and shea butter provide more moisture — I am simply in love.
I tried Punta Cana, a hot pink shade; Bordeaux, a rich burgundy (the unofficial color of Fall 2013); Las Vegas, nude and Palm Beach, a vibrant coral. These shades last for hours and never feel dry. These are truly beautiful lipsticks.

Las Vegas and Palm Beach
CARGO is famous for their Reverse Lip Liner look: First, apply a rich shade like Bordeaux to the entire lip then fill in the middle with a lighter shade of lipstick like Napa.

These CARGO products are available at cargocosmetics.com, Ulta and Nordstrom in September 2013.
