My, my! Imagine the fun I had opening each of these treasures! Urban Decay‘s edgy brand of beauty has three elements: femininity, danger and fun — and each clutch style eyeshadow palette is designed to evoke each one of these elements. Reflect the different sides of your personality with one (or all!) of these palettes and have fun with the colors and emotions they bring out in you! Founder Wende Zomnir said “The most interesting women I know are feminine in their own way, have a dangerous side to them, and are always fun.”
Each of these three zip-around palettes open to reveal a magnetic platform of eyeshadows with a mirror and coordinating Lip Junkie Lip Gloss. Remove the eyeshadows to use it as a clutch for a night on the town! All three palettes contain the new Pigment Infusion System ™ that allows for each color to have the rich, velvety texture and super-long wearability. Each clutch contains six eyeshadows that are blendable or can stand alone.
The Feminine Palette ($36.00) — includes sultry, yet soft shades that vary from shimmering neutrals to smoky hues.
The Dangerous Palette ($36.00) — features bewitching deep jewel tones and seductive neutrals.
The Fun Palette ($36.00) — offers shades that are perfect for experimenting with color to create upbeat every day looks (front of case pictured above).
The Smoked 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil Set ($38.00) makes a great gift for any beautynista as it contains colors that work for all sorts of looks. I fell for Smog (metallic warm-brown copper) — I am heavily in love with metallics as of late. This is the perfect pairing for the already-launched the Smoked Eyeshadow Palette ($49.00). There are shimmering pewters and deep jewel tones to go way beyond your basic black liner.
From top to bottom: Uzi, Zero, Demolition, Smog, Empire and Mainline
You get six pencils in all, and two are limited-edition shades that were brought back by popular demand (Empire — matte dark-eggplant purple and Smog). Debuting is Mainline, which is a matte peacock-blue — quite the standout shade as well. As I swatched these six, I knew how I could wear all of them… and that makes a beautynista happy when products are wearable and practical. These pencils are creamy, waterproof and smudge-proof to boot!
