Christian Siriano brought the beautiful ballerina to life on the runway at his Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2013 runway show. The hair look was a simple top bun symbolizing the “moving ballerina, “created by lead hairstylist Antoinette Beenders, Global Style Director for Aveda. The look was a simple, easy updo. Bender says “it is a look you would see a ballerina wear on her day off,” which was created with Aveda Air Control Hair Spray ($24.00) and Pure Abundance Volumizing Hair Spray ($18.00).
Polly Osmond for M·A·C created a very natural, pretty girl look enhancing eyelids with a sweep of pink on the lids using M·A·C’s Powder Blush ($20.00) in Tenderling over M·A·C Cream Colour Bases ($18.50) in Luna and Shell. For blush, Osmond used a large, fluffy brush to swirl a deposit of color on cheeks. Lips were filled in with M·A·C‘s Lipstick ($15.00) in Crème Cup. Pale, even skin was enhanced with M·A·C‘s Mineralize Skinfinish ($29.00) makeup.
This season, CND launches a new shade in the show called Linen Grapefruit — a sheer, pale color with subtle shimmer that can worn on any skin tone. Angie Wingle for CND says it is best
