The Look: Emerson wanted to focus on the juxtaposition of lightness and darkness, staying true to a refined yet edgy aesthetic.

The hair for the models at Emerson were a true rocker-chic look, with loose waves. There was absolutely no sign of frizz anywhere. Using Kerastase Serum Oleo-Relax, Ziani was able to create a sexy, shiny and edge texture to the hair.”It is very romantic, it’s classic yet surprising to mimic the clothes,” says Ziani. He used a curling iron for a soft, yet natural texture. “We don’t want anything artificial in the look,” he says. “We wanted everything to be soft and natural yet romantic.”

Lindsay Ebbin says, “”We wanted to have a flawless liquid kind of finish to the lips, and to look effortlessly striking.” Ebbin used contouring with nude shades as well as matte products (e.g. lavender eye shadow) and skipped “shimmer” entirely.

The nails had a lovely pastel, creamy finish to them using a pale slate lavender shade: Essie’s St. Lucia Lilac.
