Confession: I have never met a towelette that really does the job and gets my skin clean, so I am a bit biased against these products (recall my reviews of the Olay Wipes and Garnier Towelettes .
However, I am happy to report that not only are these L’Oréal Ideal Clean Makeup Removing Towelettes ($4.99) ultra-soft, they gently yet effectively removed all traces of makeup: bright red lipstick (my trademark!), mascara and even eyeliner.
Plus, they did not dry out my skin because they are alcohol-free. (They are also dermatologist and ophthalmologist tested for safety.)
After using a few (they are small, so it takes more than one to do the job), all I needed was a splash of water and a pat-down with a towel. My skin felt super-clean and terrific! Thanks, L’Oréal for finally producing a towelette that really does work!
