Oil-free, pre-moistened and cottony soft, these Olay Fresh Effects {S’Wipe Out} Refreshing Make-Up Removal Cloths ($4.99) are said to “lift away dirt & makeup — even waterproof mascara — in a jiffy.”
I am not a big fan of these products. Yes, they are easy-to-use and theoretically good for travel, but, in fact, they tend not to clean very well — and you end up feeling less than refreshed or clean when you are done. But, the Olay cloths — I am happy to report — are better than most. They are very moist and did a good job removing dirt and makeup.
I did have to use two or three in order to fully remove all of my eye makeup, but eventually my mascara, liner and shadow did come off.
A splash of water to follow and my skin felt soft and clean. I still prefer washing my face in the shower, but these cloths are great for travel or the gym (perfect for post-workout), and I will be taking them with me on trips both near and far.
