I’m forever waging war against undereye puffiness, so I was eager to try this new product from Borghese. Formulated with allanantoin (to heal and soothe), provitamin B5 (to restore and maintain natural skin moisture) as well as Borghese’s signature Acqua di Vita complex (to hydrate and energize), the Acqua Ristorativo Immediato Instant Eye Revitalizer ($45.00) is a product that promises to “moisturize, soothe and lift.”
A rolling metal ball makes for an easy and effective application. I found the formulation to be a bit juicier (for lack of a better word!) than other comparable products — I did have to wipe away a bit of the residue that had worked its way down my cheek.
But, I loved the easy gliding feel, and was pleased to see that the cooling formula did a nice job of reducing those dreaded, early morning puffies. The Instant Eye Revitalizer costs more than the competition, but I have to say that it seems superior. I’d splurge on this one, ladies — and cut corners somewhere else.
