Here, I’ve reviewed two brushes from the collection (all available for around $7 from Walmart.com. The Jewel Shine Paddle Brush is definitely larger than I’ve been used to, but gives your hair a beautiful frizz-free shine. The ball-tipped bristles also aim to massage the scalp when styling. I’m not the biggest fan of massaging the scalp when styling — it gives me the heebie jeebies, frankly. But the paddle brush is good for overall smoothing of the hair. The 23mm Bristle Round Brush is a good choice for blow drying the hair. I always like to curl my hair inwards and I find apart from your shampoo and conditioner choices, the choice of brush is important to achieve a good look.
The brush runs easily and there’s no snagging effect. So, definitely, these brushes get my vote on the purpose alone. As for the look — it’s no secret that I love bling. I would Minx my life if I could. From Carlos Falchi bags to gold ballet flats, I try to buy anything with a shimmer, so I totally love the jewel tones from the Goody Shine collection.
