As a gal with oily, large pores, I am always on the lookout for a foundation that can address three things: minimizing my pores; providing coverage and hydration. Well, Bobbi has addressed all three in this new formula. As I get older, I don’t want such a dry, tight oil-free foundation. This particular formula manages to look fresh and semi-matte all at the same time!
I gave it a go and it looked good throughout the day. I was with my mother, and trust me, she is my harshest critic. So, if mom says my skin looks good, it looks good! This new formula has a new technology which takes treated pigments in the formula that are suspended in an emollient gel, creating a silky and lightweight texture that looks natural and stays true-to-the-color. Bobbi Brown’s Long-Wear Even Finish Foundation SPF 15 ($47.00) has a “soft focus” effect which evens the skin tone and provides an immediate reduction in the appearance of fine lines and pores. I love that! No need to have a camera man following us around with Vaseline on the lens. Ha ha!
Along with all this new technology, Bobbi also added glycerin and shea butter for hydration. As well as vitamins C and E for protection against future free radical damage. And foundation wouldn’t be complete without SPF 15 for UVA/UVB protection. Just to note: I recommend this foundation for oily/combination gals and/or those who reside in a humid climate.
So, let’s recap the benefits of Bobbi Brown’s Long-Wear Even Finish Foundation SPF 15:
-Long-wearing
– Color-True
– Natural, Pore-less finish
– Hydrating
– Comfortable Wear
This foundation will be available September 2012 at all counters, but is now available at www.bobbibrowncosmetics.com.
