I’ve got all three of these products in different shades. I primarily used the Shape and Fill for the majority of my eyebrows and the Definer to define other areas. The Frame and Set was a little too light for my taste, but that’s an issue with the shade, not the product. Because it was light, it was easy to use to blend towards the beginner of the brows. The two pencils are harder in texture, which I personally find is easier to use than overly creamy pencils. The Frame and Set is a little more on the dry side. Sometimes pomades can be too creamy and dark, so I found that this really helped achieve a more natural result.
If you already know and love brow pencils, I think either of the pencils would be great options to add to your makeup routine. If you’re more comfortable with brow pomades, like me, I think you’ll enjoy this one by L’Oreal. At the end of the day, the brow product you choose really comes down to personal preference. Nevertheless, the new Brow Stylist products from L’Oreal offer alternatives to high-end products that you might have seen a lot in magazines or on the internet. The quality of each of these is great for the price.
I’ve been using brow pomades for a few years now. I find that they tend to dry out rather quickly because of the texture. No matter how tightly you close the lid, it seems that the product dries out before you get a chance to finish it. Because L’Oreal provides such great products at affordable prices, I would definitely not mind replenishing this product over and over!
If you’re on the market to switch up the products you use to fill in your brows, I think any of these would be a perfect choice for you. Again, it comes down to personal preference. They array of shades offered by L’Oreal means you can find the perfect shade to match your needs – remember, you usually want your brows one or two shades lighter than your actual hair color.
