If you’ve been paying attention to any form of social media, you’ve probably heard all of the rage about The James Charles Palette. YouTube beauty influencer, James Charles, collaborated with Morphe to give us the most gorgeous set of eyeshadows I’ve seen in a palette in a long time! From bright and bold pops of color to soft and gorgeous neutral shades, this eyeshadow palette literally has everything you need to create a countless amount of looks! This palette would be perfect for someone who is starting out with makeup, or even for someone who has a little bit of everything. If you’re looking to incorporate some color into your looks, the palette definitely has you covered in that department.

This palette retails for $39.00 and contains 39 eyeshadows – which is a great deal considering each eyeshadow only costs you $1.00. The palette has been flying off of the shelves so it’s often out of stock. Once it’s restocked, it sells out just as quickly as it did before. So, you’ll want to make sure you sign up on the Morphe or ULTA Beauty website to be alerted as to when the next restock is if you’re interested in purchasing this beautiful palette!

As you can see, the palette contains five rows of eyeshadows, four of which are your standard sized eyeshadow and one row which contains supersized eyeshadows. I love the fact that the supersized row contains shades that I think I’ll go through more often – like white, black, and great transition shades.

I was extremely impressed with the formula of these shadows. Both the shimmer and matte formulas in these palette have wonderful color payoff. There is hardly any fallout when applying these eyeshadows. Just give your brush a quick tap and you’re good to go! I think the large variety of colors give you a palette that allows you to create endless looks, from neutral to rainbow inspired looks.

I’ve created a number of looks with this palette and I do not think this palette contains even one “dud” shade. Each shade has nice pigmentation and a gorgeous effect on the eyes. They blend together with ease and do not require a ton of buildup to get the color to show up as true on your eye as it does on the switch. Even better, the lighter shimmery shades can be used in a pinch for a highlighter on your cheekbones and any other high points of the face! I definitely give this palette 5 stars.
