They say never to share your wishes or they won’t come true, but Smashbox is urging everyone to go public with their wishes this holiday.
Before: No Makeup
After: With Smashbox Photo Finish Luminizing foundation primer, Fusion Soft Lights in Baked Starburst on the cheeks and O-Gloss Gold on the lips. All of this is from The Gold List travel collection.
They’ve umbrella’d all their best-selling photo finish primers together for a limited time this 2010 Holiday season. The Smashbox WISH (Wish for the Perfect Primers) collection includes the Photo Finish Lid Primer (.08 oz) , Photo Finish Targeted Pore & Line Primer ( .375 Travel Size) and Photo Finish Foundation Primer ( 1 oz) . I personally am addicted to their classic, award-winning foundation primer. With active ingredients such as Vitamins A & E, Grape Seed Extract and Green Tea, the foundation primer left my face satin smooth and flawless. That along with the lid primer allowed me to have flawless makeup application that lasted for several hours before I had to do any retouching. The lid primer can actually be left alone for a naked eye with a bit of shimmer. I have worn it several times with just a bit of eyeliner and mascara. Items that can be used in various ways are great in my book. This collection is $39 (a $72 retail value) and can be purchased at www.smashbox.com.
Going one step further, Smashbox brings us another limited edition collection called smashbox WISH (The Gold List). This includes Fusion Soft Lights in Baked Starburst, Photo Finish Luminizing Foundation Primer, Photo Op Under Eye Brightener and the NEW O-Gloss Gold.
The Fusion Soft Lights powder have beautiful shades for the season and did not leave too much shimmer which I was pleased with. The Photo Finish Luminizing Foundation Primer is not meant for all ladies. I loved it as a base primer but it definitely had to be toned down with my foundation and powder. This left just enough shimmer shining through that I’d use this look for an evening out.
This primer will not work for everyone as a base primer. It does give a very bronzy look. Other options are to use it as a highlighter. Don’t let the NEW O-Gloss Gold fool you. When first applied it shows as a very gold shade but quickly tones down to a pretty peach. This collection is $49 (a $108 retail value) and can be purchased at www.smashbox.com
Not only is Smashbox trying to make our own wishes come true but they are also donating $1 for every WISH purchase up to $25,000 to the Children’s Miracle Network, a non-profit organization that grants the wish of life by providing medical care, life saving research and on-going education to help millions of children overcome diseases and injuries of every kind.
So, what do you think about the WISH collections? Do you hope to see them under you tree?
