The shades are beautiful, have a satin but very creamy feel when applied — and were long-wearing.
The one thing I have to say about these shadows was that the fluffy side of the brush did not distribute the color well: it picks up too much of the shadow, causing some fallout. I loved how the colors looked, so I wasn’t going to allow the brush to ruin this palette for me. I used one of my brushes that had compacted bristles… and that did the job!
The fluffy side of the brush is great for highlighting and making sure all the colors are blended, but not for depositing color. The small, smudger side was great at applying color to the lower lash line and inner corners of the eye.
The Lip Gloss Set ($29.00) contains four Lip Enhancing mini glosses that will leave your lips saturated with the season’s hottest hues! The colors include Fuchsia Flash, VIP Pink, Electric Orange and Copper Remix.
They’re super-moisturizing and have sheer, see-through pigment (perfect for summer!), but thing I liked most about these glosses was the applicator — in one swipe it covered both my upper and bottom lip.
It has a bulbous center that allows for the perfect amount of color to distribute evenly on your lips. And at a mini size, they’re great for stowing away in the pockets of your cut-off jeans!
