This Photo Op Eyeshadow Palette ($42.00) comes in Fade In (swatched) and Fade Out, which will have you contemplating whether to wear a olive-brown eye look, or a purple-black goth-inspired eye.
Fade In comes in a sleek mirrored compact with a fluffy blending brush. Like the Heat Wave summer palette, this brush is best to use for blending, as the eyeshadows are greatly pigmented but tend to make a mess on the eye if used with this brush.

I like to use the accompanied brush to blend everything together, but reach for your finely packed shadow brushes to make a mess-free application.
Colors include a matte warm ivory, matte flesh color, shimmery taupe, matte chocolate brown, khaki green with golden shimmer, matte dark chocolate and black with gold pearl.
I made two looks with this set: I LOVED the khaki green mixed with the the lighter, matte brown shades, and for a darker eye used the shimmery taupe as a base and contoured with the matte, dark chocolate shade.
I lined my eyes with the collection’s Waterproof Shadow Liner ($22.00) in Black Gold. It is super-soft and glides easily on your eyes. These limited-edition liners can do double-duty as a stay-put, long-wearing eyeliner or shadow.
As I lined my eyes, I couldn’t help but want to smudge it all over my lid and then apply my shadows to make the ultimate evening eye.
The smudger on the bottom is cushiony-soft and blends the liner well. Although it’s called Black Gold, I felt that the color came off more olive green than black gold, which made my brown eyes pop!
Finish off your look with the Be Legendary Lipstick ($20.00) available in Cognac (a warm raisin; swatched) and Black Cherry (a deep cranberry).
Lips haven’t looked or felt this good, with Smashbox’s popular Be Legendary Lipstick formula giving off show-stopping, saturated color in just one swipe. This creamy shade has a lustrous finish with shea butter and vitamins C and E to protect and moisturize lips for hours.
