Lancôme recently introduced a new serum called Advanced Génifique Youth Activating Concentrate ($82.00 – $132.00), which claims to make skin, “smoother and more radiant… that you can see and feel.”

According to Lancôme, the serum will, “reactivate the 10 key signs of youth… This innovative formula, featuring Génifique’s powerful new complex with added biotechnology-derived ingredient, is incredible to the touch.”
Génifique’s powerful complex with added biotechnology-derived ingredient is formulated without parabens, sulfates and phthalates, making it one of the more purer products on the market today; it also comes with an advanced self-loading dropper.
So, how does it perform? The serum itself is thin and easy to apply. And I have to say that it vanishes INSTANTLY into skin! Now, I am a big fan of easy-to-absorb serums in general, because I feel that products which sit on the skin are not doing a whole lot for you.
But this one is unusual, even for a serum! It seemed to absorb even before I finished putting it on — pretty impressive in my view.

As for results, I have been using it for about a month (eight weeks recommended), and while I don’t look 25, I have been hearing a lot of, “Have you been on vacation? You look great!” Something is working here!
This is an expensive product, but I do think it’s worth the price. And it lasts a long time because the self-loading dropper insures that you don’t waste a single precious bit! Bottom line: a keeper.
