As I put on my pink ribbon this morning, I was reminded that October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. It’s a time to wear pink for the cure and to show support that no matter how big or small, we’ll save them all!
I love to see beauty companies support the awareness through their line of product. One that has recently caught my attention is Crabtree & Evelyn’s Limited Edition Pink 60-Second Fix Kit for Hands ($30).
We depend on our hands so much, especially women when it comes to everyday testing for breast cancer. Why not treat your pretty mani to the luxurious attention it deserves? In my daily pampering, I start with the simple pleasure of La Source Hand Recovery (3.5 oz) for gentle exfoliation. Just squeeze a dab onto hands and scrub, scrub, scrub. Then rinse away to reveal cleansed, smooth skin. For the ultimate treatment, moisturize and refresh dry skin with the light fragrance of shea butter in La Source Hand Therapy (3.5oz). For all the hard work your hands do, this treatment will leave them clapping for more!
Although the Pink 60-Second Fix Kit for Hands is not organic, the products are free of parabens, lauryl sulfates, mineral oil and propylene glycol (i.e. lots of yucky stuff!). Choose from Citron Honey & Coriander, La Source, or Gardeners and Crabtree & Evelyn will donate $1/limited edition kit to Susan G. Komen for the Cure with a minimum donation of $25g’s. We’re tickled pink about it.
Although for BCA we always encourage people to actually purchase a kit (the proceeds do go to a great cause), we wanted to give one to a lucky reader so she can spread the word to others to buy it. Leave a comment below and enter to win one of these Limited Edition kits from Crabtree & Evelyn!
