DKNY wants you to get even more juiced — at least in a fragrant way, that is. Ms. Karan has two new, limited edition Juicy versions of Be Delicious. You can have Be Delicious Fresh Blossom Juiced or Be Delicious Juiced.
Be Delicious Juiced is similar to the original Be Delicious but with even more bite. It’s got that fresh green apple note as well as a dewy quality from pear blossom, along with a wet muguet ( lily of the valley) note.
The dry down brings in some woods, but ever so slightly. It’s a sunny, bright and feel-good scent, a perfect pick me upper for the winter. If you love the original or Summer 2008’s limited edition Be Delicious Charmingly, then Be Delicious Juiced should be on your list.
Be Delicious Fresh Blossom Juiced is far more floral than fruity and a lovely spring day of a scent. Need a winter doldrums lift ? Then try this. Citrus fruits in the form of grapefruit burst through first then lots of fressia and sweet pea come along for the ride. There is a nice rose note here too. Soft , but not powdery and a little sweet. By the dry down, a hint of white musk peeks out but overall this a pretty floral bouquet of a perfume. If you were a fan of the well loved and lamented Bath and Body Works Sweet Pea scent, Be Delicious Fresh Blossom brings it to mind and might be a worthy replacement.
Both new scents are available now in sizes of 1 oz and 1.7 oz. and retail for $$36-52 at Ulta and Sephora. There are also gift sets available with both the fragrances and a luxe body lotion.
