MTV, who has brought us the highly recognizable “Jersey Shore”, is now responsible for the ultra controversial show, “Skins.” A remake of the British version, also entitled “Skins,” this racy teen drama follows the lives of nine high school friends.
With sex, drugs and drinking, the show is definitely not lacking in drama – and the girls on the show substitute their lack of clothing with adding intense colors on their eyes. “Skins” series opener features Eura, Tony’s sister, with a dark smokey eye. And she is not the only one that chooses darker hues for her peepers.
Smokey eyes can add the illusion of mystery to any women; they are great for a date or a night out. A misconception is that a smokey eye needs to be created with black and grays.
Daisy on the show opts for a hunter green, which can give the same effect but is more fun. A smokey eye is easy to create, but the right tools are what accomplish this look. To create the perfect smokey eye use Dior’s 5-Colour Eyeshadow palette in Night Dust and Bobbi Brown’s Eye Smudge Brush.
Tea also sports a killer cat eye, and we’re huge fans of MAC’s Fluidline in Blacktrack for any eye–cat, tiger or otherwise. As for the lips? They’re pretty pale, and we’re thinking Chantecaille’s lipgloss in Love (remember her Golden Globes reapplication?) might just do the trick.
