“Defined in nature, refined by science.” ~ emerginC Scientific Organics
I hate to giveaway everything in the first line of this review, but there is no getting around it: I love emerginC. There. I said it. But before you ask, let me tell you why.
It all began back in 1996, when emerginC launched the ever-famous Vitamin C Serum. Fast forward 14 years, and as of August 2010, the professional cosmeceutical skincare line is back in the limelight but for a reason that tickles me green. They have developed Scientific Organics, a paraben-free, petro-chemical free, synthetic fragrance-free line of beauty with a minimum of 70% organic ingredients in each and every bottle of pretty.
I had the ultimate luxury to test the Phytocell Cream. Made with a chock-full of botanicals and marine extracts, including Kombucha (a fermented tea), grape stem cells, algae extract, glycerin, xylose and galactose from palmaria palmate, green tea, white tea, glucose, xylitol, and food grade seaweed, this cream does not disappoint even the faint at heart.
By just applying a dab in the morning after my cleansing routine, and a dab in the evening right before bed, my skin has evolved into a fresh, clear, smooth complexion. The redness of my prior sensitive skin is gone. The irregular skin tones are now balanced. Best of all, my skin looks and feels revitalized and new.
emerginC Scientific Organics Photocell Cream is great for all skin types, but with a focus on anti-aging. The new product line consists of:
- Kombucha Cleanser
- Spirulina Toner
- Phytocell Serum
- Phytocell Detox Mask, and (my personal fav)
- Phytocell Cream.
emerginC does not test on animals or use any sort of animal ingredients. And as if that wasn’t enough to make you fall in love, too, the company prints their product boxes on Forest Stewardship Council and Sustainable Forestry Initiative certified paperboard with non-toxic vegetable-based inks. And for the organic cherry on top of this beauty sundae, for every Scientific Organics retail sized item sold, emerginC plants a tree. Ah, the beauty of an organic love is unforgettable. If you’ve experienced the love of Scientific Organics, do kiss and tell by posting a comment!
