The colors of spring are finally bursting. M.A.C.’s latest Fashionflower Collection, which hits shelves April 28th, offers the floral and fashionable collection just in time for ladies to capitalize on daisy-debossed beauty powder and shadows.
Think dewy lips, sparkling lipgelee, and even an aqua blue lipstick that evokes the shade of the ocean. Fleur and couture — this collection is not so much FIERCE as it is PRETTY.
Here’s how to rock this look: go for the dewy lip with the light lipstick shades which are really very pastel. Dazzle the Lipgelees over them for a sparkly effect reminiscent of fairies and spring evenings. Don’t forget to coat your lashes with a deep, intense black mascara though! It’s not the smoky eye look but this look is definitely about the fierce lashes.
Hence, the Penultimate Eye Liner as well. For an evening out on the town, be a sparkling primrose and use the Beauty Powders, which will give your skin a soft, sparkling veil.
Finally, don’t forget the spring-colored eye shadows in names like “Fresh Daisy” to “Free to Be.”

The shades of Fashionflower remind us a little of the Surf, Baby! Collection and the Quite Cute collection, but are much much lighter (the latter features a matte neon lipstick, for instance, but the Fashionflower’s most intense lip color is a Creamsheen Creamy Coral).
So, the bottom line is that this collection will be excellent for those with paler skin tones, who want that very The Notebook, girly looks. If you want to play up the colors a bit, feel free to mix the collections, but the key here will be to prime your skin for a flawless look, as you can see in the campaign picture at the very top. May we suggest the M.A.C. Primed for Perfection?
What do you think of Fashionflower? Girly, cute? Would you wear it?
